Njoroge Muiruri is a seasoned audit and finance management professional with more than 17 years of extensive experience in the banking and financial services sector. He currently serves as the Head of Internal Audit at Kingdom Bank, a position he assumed in 2020 after initially joining the bank as an Audit Consultant in 2019.

Njoroge commenced his career at Kamau & Awuondo where he gained foundational experience as an external auditor for nearly 2 years. In 2007, he transitioned into the banking industry, starting as a Senior Compliance Officer at Equity Bank and subsequently advancing to the role of Internal Audit Manager at Spire Bank.

He has held the role of Head of Internal Audit for 12 years in various banks among them Access Bank and was thereafter the pioneer Head of Audit for Mayfair Bank (Currently CIBK Bank) from 2016- 2018 where he played a pivotal role in establishing robust audit frameworks and processes.

Njoroge Muiruri is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Kenyatta University. He furthered his academic pursuits with a Master of Business in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi, enhancing his strategic decision-making abilities within the financial sector.

Additionally, he holds a Diploma in International Financial Reporting, underscoring his comprehensive understanding of global financial standards. Njoroge’s unique blend of academic excellence, professional certifications and hands-on experience positions him as a trusted leader in audit and finance management, driving organizational excellence through meticulous oversight and strategic direction.
